Certificates for Project Managers can be a great compliment to your daily work in the industry. It can help you demonstrate knowledge to employers and clients.
If you are already a proud owner of a PMP and working in Software development, PMI Agile Certified Project Manager (PMI-ACP) may be a logical next step.
If you are already a PMP, you need the following to qualify for the exam
- 1500 hours of Agile with 2 year with at least 8 months of consecutive experience
- 21 hours of training in Agile
The example includes topics on Lean, Scrum, and Kanban from a PM perspective. The reading list is required is pretty extensive and includes books from Mike Cohn, Ken Schwaber, Alistar Cockburn, and Esther Derby.
